$8.7M in Upcoming Grants for Food, Agriculture, and the Environment
In our muscles as much as in our ideas, we are trapped by the tyranny of what we come to regard as "normal." - Dean Juhan, Job's Body
Several federal grants are opening up again and many of their deadlines are already on our coat-tails! Still, many federal programs are on pause and the impact of the uncertainty is not insignificant for agricultural producers. We hope that the grants list that we have provided you with can spark some hope.
Unlike other low-cost paid platforms that use AI to strip the public funding databases, we hand-pick the opportunities listed here so that they include private opportunities as well. This happens to come in handy, especially for times like now.
Federal (public) grants are not the only funding source that exists. Private funding opportunities include those from foundations, corporations, and individual donors; and there is also venture capital and real asset capital (categories outside of our scope, but we encourage you to explore them as well).
In our March newsletter, you can look forward to particularly useful insights on how to access these private funds! Stay tuned…

If you’re new here, welcome!
We are a team of grant writers advocating for farmers and ranchers. Refontê Ventures’ Substack, now including our Upcoming Grants List, is a reader-supported newsletter that shares grants and other funding opportunities for agriculturalists who are stewarding people’s health and that of the planet. We BELIEVE in you, we SUPPORT you, and we insist that funders must too.
Community members of this, what we like to call a “grant resource cooperative,” have spurred us to pull this together, and it is our pleasure to provide these resources at 80% to 99% less than the cost of existing grant search tools providing the exact same government and foundation grants out there.
